Cassie + Andrew

I end up somehow connecting with amazing people in this world through documenting their love story for the day. It’s a privilege and an honor. Something I hold very dear to my heart. Cassie & Andrew had their incredible wedding in downtown Cleveland. The ceremony took place at the always gorgeous St. Patrick’s Parish. After the ceremony, because it was such perfect weather, the gang really wanted to start the party at the 9. The alley right next door to the hotel had the best lighting. Thankfully Cassie & Andrew did not want typical wedding photos so I had a ton of fun utilizing all kinds of textures and industrial elements. The reception took place in the private room at Cibreo Privato.  The ambiance had a rustic romantic feel with all the candles and wine barrels. This wedding holds for the longest speech I’ve ever heard. Andrew’s father spoke for 32 min (someone timed it). Indeed he had a lot to say and it was very heartfelt. Also Cassie’s twin sister had everyone in gut busting laughter. Might be the funniest speech I’ve ever heard. All together this wedding was amazing. Their special bond with their friends and family was gleaming. Cassie & Andrew thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love.

Thank you Cleveland for always providing the most amazing backdrops. I had a blast wondering around our great city with these two.

Claire + Kevin

Inspired by shades of lilac, eggplant, green’s and silvers, these pops of color brightened this wedding in such a lovely way. It’s amazing that this wedding took place in October. It truly looked like a spring wedding with all the lush greens. Knowing how chancy Cleveland can be when it comes to weather, Claire and Kevin came prepared with matching umbrellas that made for really great bridal party shots. My favorite moments would have to be the first look (super heartfelt) and the reception (super awesome dance party) I’m a sucker for a good dance off. Claire and Kevin I hope all that rain brings you tons of good luck. Judging from how amazing your wedding was, I think you’re off to a great start. Wishing you lot’s of happiness, love, and fun dance parties.

Mary + Nick

When I first met Mary & Nick, I knew based on their warm and caring personalities and attention to detail that this wedding was going to be extra special. As you look through this blog post keep in mind that Mary organized and coordinated all of this herself.  I told her if she ever decides to leave Great Lakes Brewing Co. to be a wedding planner, I’ll be the first to cheer her on. She did not skip a beat. Everything from the gorgeous welcome table display, wine cork place cards, cigar bar, smores, even the favors, a Great Lakes Brewing beer with their photo on it, was incredible. Mary & Nick’s wedding was so very emotional. The tears, laughter, and love that carried throughout this day was immeasurable. Some of my favorite memories from their wedding was watching them saw a log in half  (an old German tradition), and seeing Mary’s face when her papa surprised her with a song he use to sing to her when she was a little girl.  Despite how cold and rainy this day was, everything turned out to be a dream. Mary & Nick your wedding is one I’ll never forget. Your kindness and love is truly an honor to witness and I’m so grateful for everything. Thank you so much. Wish you both all the love and lot’s of babies!

Karla & Chris

I’ve known Karla for over 7 years. She’s my husband’s niece so when she told me she was nervous when we started our session I was like what???  It doesn’t get more comfortable then this. Needless to say they warmed up as the session went on. Here are some of my favorites. Excited for their wedding next year!
