Mary + Nick

When I first met Mary & Nick, I knew based on their warm and caring personalities and attention to detail that this wedding was going to be extra special. As you look through this blog post keep in mind that Mary organized and coordinated all of this herself.  I told her if she ever decides to leave Great Lakes Brewing Co. to be a wedding planner, I’ll be the first to cheer her on. She did not skip a beat. Everything from the gorgeous welcome table display, wine cork place cards, cigar bar, smores, even the favors, a Great Lakes Brewing beer with their photo on it, was incredible. Mary & Nick’s wedding was so very emotional. The tears, laughter, and love that carried throughout this day was immeasurable. Some of my favorite memories from their wedding was watching them saw a log in half  (an old German tradition), and seeing Mary’s face when her papa surprised her with a song he use to sing to her when she was a little girl.  Despite how cold and rainy this day was, everything turned out to be a dream. Mary & Nick your wedding is one I’ll never forget. Your kindness and love is truly an honor to witness and I’m so grateful for everything. Thank you so much. Wish you both all the love and lot’s of babies!

It’s hard for me to even write this without tearing up. This is my family. The people I hold closest to my heart.  In a nutshell, this wedding was not only about love, but also about heritage.  Croatians have limitless passion for their culture and it’s evident how much energy and love they have for one another in these photos.  Words can’t express the amount of happiness I have for Marta and Andrew.  Both first generation Croats, they are keeping strong to their roots and faith bringing this wedding to a whole new level!  Jen & Ian did a phenomenal job keeping up with this crazy celebration. Bianca + Matt

Bianca & Matt had a gorgeous fall inspired wedding at the Clifton Barn. It was intimate and oh so lovely in every way. They opted for a romantic rustic feel with pops of brilliant jewel tones mixed in with touches of gold and sparkle. I was obsessed with all the elegant details that Bianca payed such close attention too like the incredible invites that had such character and the matching macaroons on the dessert table. My favorite part of the wedding has to be the super heartfelt speeches.  You could feel the love in the air from all their friends and family. It was hard not to cry. This summer I had the opportunity to photograph a wonderful styled shoot collaboration with some of Cleveland’s finest vendors. Mallory + Justin are the brains and muscle behind this brilliant concept and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be included. It took place on Mallory’s family estate out in the middle of nowhere (of course because where else can you find scenery like this). Just after we photographed the first couple it poured buckets of rain. It was incredible to see how that changed the color of the green everywhere. So much beauty and talent went into the styling for this. It was a huge honor to be a part of.

Nadeen + Jimmy

Too gorgeous for words. Nadeen & Jimmy make a crazy good looking couple. And that dress! Stunning. The ceremony and reception took place at the Western Reserve Historical Society. The white, black and silver color story was perfection with the surrounding vintage cars and airplanes. I adore the story of how these two met. Nadeen’s maid of honor wanted to get a tattoo and dragged her to get one too.  They went to Focused Tattoo Studio’s and sure enough Jimmy was the one tattooing her. Through a “painful” conversation, he ended up asking her out and the rest is history. This wedding was super heartfelt and had all the feels. I’m beyond happy for you Nadeen and Jimmy and wish you both so much love. Thank you for trusting me to capture your incredible day.
